Welcome to the Ripon Amateur Operatic Society (RAOS) official website.

The Ripon Amateur Operatic Society is a registered non-profit charity organisation which provide theatrical entertainment every year in Harrogate, Ripon and surrounding areas and in 2010, RAOS will be celebrating 70 years, since being founded in 1940.

Every year in Spring, we perform a major stage production in Harrogate Theatre. Past productions include Oliver!, Sweet Charity, Oklahoma and many more! As well as our annual stage production, we also perform further concerts in autumn and around Christmas. With members ranging between the ages of 12 and 85, Ripon Amateur Operatic are always seeking actively to increase younger membership.
